Bethel Township Trustees and staff are excited about several new projects planned for 2025. First, a new concession stand will be built at Medlake Ball Park. The old concession stand was removed in January to prepare for the arrival of the new facility, which is expected in March. This updated stand will provide a better space for the Medlake Ball Association to operate. (The project has been completed successfully. The Medlake Baseball Association enjoyed a fantastic year!) Second, we are installing a new sign at the Bethel Township Community Center featuring our updated logo. (This project has been completed. Hope everyone likes the new logo!) Third, a digital sign will be placed in front of Fire Station #51 on Lake Road. This sign will keep residents informed about community events and weather-related information. (The sign has been installed. It takes a bit of learning to put the messages on it, but it is progressing well.) Fourth, we will be adding new playground equipment at Medlake Ball Park, set for installation in the spring of 2025. (This is also complete. There are families with their children there regularly. We are so happy to see the kids out playing! Lastly, we will be doing some road repairs. It is not certain which roads will be paved and which ones will get chip and sealed, but we will keep the residents informed closer to spring/ summer. (Most roads have been completed for this year. We have decided to place a road levy on the fall ballot to improve the condition of our roads. We hope the community supports this!)
