Bethel Township Trustees have signed two resolutions to try to keep commercial-sized solar farms from coming into Bethel Township. Commercial-sized farms are those in excess of 50 megawatts of generation, and wind farms in excess of 5 megawatts that would be overseen by the Ohio Power Siting Board.  We have also requested that the sites of old landfills, barrel dumps, and brownfields be excluded from the restrictions for solar farms, but not from wind farms.
