Bethel Township Code 805.02.01 Front Yard [eff. 11-4-2020] A fence or wall in the front yard shall not exceed four (4) feet in height. 805.02.011 IN instances where a single-family home front on a major or secondary thoroughfare, such fence or wall shall not exceed six (6) feet in height. 805.02.012 Hedges not to exceed six (6) feet in height may be located in any front yard but shall be subject to Chapter 10 Traffic Visibility. 805.02.013 A fence or wall in the front yard shall not be installed in the right-of-way and is subject to Traffic Visibility, as defined in Chapter 10. 805.02.014 A fence or wall on a corner lot shall be subject to Traffic Visibility, as defined in Chapter 10. 805.02.02 Side or Rear Yard: [eff. 11-4-2020] A fence or wall in the side or rear yard shall not exceed six (6) feet in height.

Under the Ohio Revised Code 303.01 the keeping of chickens or roosters is not permitted on parcels of land that are less than one acre in size. It is a requirement that an area larger than one acre is utilized for this purpose, with setbacks of 50 feet from the front and rear, and 30 feet from each side. NO roosters are allowed in a platted area.
